We need you! Do you have a skill or passion that you could pass onto the youth in our area? We are always looking for project leaders, especially those interested one of the hundreds of possible projects through 4-H. Woodworking, baking or cake decorating, sewing or quilting, knitting or crochet, STEM, robotics, coding and more. 4-H is made possible by the generosity of volunteers who donate their time. Valley Oak 4-H, is made up of 100% volunteer staff. While not every season is the right season for someone to volunteer, we ask you to keep an open mind and an open heart and consider volunteering for our club. There are many opportunities, some requiring just a few hours of your time. Contact us if you are interested in assisting in an event, leading a project or help fill a need in Orangevale 4-H.
All adult volunteers are required to attend a Volunteer Training Class at the Sacramento County 4-H Office, complete a Live Scan Background check, and become a 4-H member.
What does it mean to lead or assist in leading a project? Do you enjoy teaching children? Or do you have a special interest you would like to share? We would love to have you join our team.
